My Aunt Cindy was born on August 26
My Aunt Cindy was born on August 26, 1975 and passed away on February 5 of this year. Yesterday would've been her 33rd birthday.
In the picture above, she's holding my cousin Beth who just turned 1 years old at that time last year. She's my Uncle Long and Paul's daughter and I want to congratulate them on their wedding that they had earlier this month. If you're behind on the times, same-sex marriage is legal in California! I wish that my Aunt lived to see this day, but at least a part of her is still living. I don't think that I've mentioned it before, but her niece, Beth, is her biological daughter. A couple of years ago, she donated her eggs to her brother Long and his partner Paul so that they could have a child that had a little bit of each of them -- using Paul's donation, obviously!
So to this day, Cindy lives on in our memories and in Beth.

I could tell by the photos that your aunt was close to Beth, but I had no idea she had donated her eggs. That's so beautiful. Your aunt really was such a wonderful person. And Beth is adorable as always, now I know why.
